Spheroidal granite (Klotgranit)
The spheroidal rock outcrops at Slättemossa, south of Järnforsen, are the only known occurrence of spheroidal rock in solid bedrock in Sweden.
Here, the most recent inland ice sheet has worn down the rock, revealing cross-sections of the granite spheres on two rock surfaces located about 50 meters apart, each measuring less than 20 square meters.
This gives the impression that thousands of eyes are staring at the visitor.
